This position is responsible to greet and guide the runners through packet pick up. There will be greeters both inside the packet pick up area and at the entrance. Greeters inside the packet pick up area will aide in monitoring and maintaining order as the runners pick up their chips, bibs, t shirts, and packets.

Race Number Distributor (8) This position is responsible for distributing the racing number (Bib) and timing chip. The racing numbers and timing chips will be separated by alpha/numeric order prior to the expo by the El Paso Marathon Foundation. Each volunteer will be assigned one group (ex. 100-201).

Food distribution (12 volunteers needed) 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Hand out food to participants
- Restock food area
- Keep food area clean

Finish line (22 volunteers needed) 7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Report to finish line area for training 30 minutes before race starts
- Finisher medals (10) – Distribute finisher medals to all half and full marathon finishers
- Water distribution (10) – Distribute water to finishers at end of finish line chute. Responsible for re-stocking water to that area.
